Cheryl Jaworowski
Cheryl Jaworowski is a Wyoming Professional Geologist (P.G.1421), researcher and science educator. She received her M.S. (1985; Minor in Remote Sensing) and Ph.D. (1993) in Geology from the University of Wyoming. Positions held include the federal government (Yellowstone National Park and the U.S. Geological Survey), academia (Laramie County Community College, University of Wyoming and University of California Berkeley) and private industry (Northrop at NASA Ames Research Center). She has published 28 peer-revied journal articles, 2 book chapters 40 conference proceedings, and 101 Yellowstone National Park Geology Program Technical Internal Reports. Her main research interests are Quaternary geology, geologic field mapping, Yellowstone tephra and thermal infrared remote sensing.
